Production area
Its district includes the whole hill area, less than 450 mt. high, in the Macerata province and in Loreto (province of Ancona), leaving out the valley bottom and the plain.
Grapevine
The 80% is exclusively made of the white grapes of Maceratino (Montecchiese) vine, al least at 80%. Trebbiano toscano, Verdicchio, Malvasia toscana and Chardonnay vines can be exploited, jointly or individually, up to the 20%.
Organoliptic characteristics
Appearance: It is pale yellow; some green shades are evidence of youth.
Scent: Peculiar, plesant and fresh; it recalls unripe fruit.
Flavour: It is a dry and harmonious wine.
Alcoholic content: Minimum 11° C.
Optimum age
It should be drunk within its first year. Some clone selections allow 1 or 2 years ageing.
