Le Marche typical products.
Heirs to a culture of food and wine which is among the most ancient in all Italy, we have chosen for you those most representative of products, the best of the Marche food and wine tradition with one, single essential element: its genuine nature and excellence. We are sure that food is, by now, not interpreted just a pure satisfaction of a basic need, rather it is viewed as a multi-faceted, involving experience drawing on many senses, even able to guide the research for knowledge.
Products that Mymarca proposes and sell online, the fruits of a long series of journeys, experiences, dialogues, meetings and witness, together make up the inheritance of our country tradition and act as an intermediary between the past and present that must be conserved. Each single product offers itself as a definite witness to the land it comes from, by way of the techniques used, the prestige of raw materials adopted as well as the recovery of traditions.
Our portal hosts a selection of the finest spicy sausages from throughout the Region such as the Ciauscolo, an ancient and tender spicy sausage spread, salami from Fabriano, the lonzino, the coppa and the prosciutto from Carpegna. Coming to olive oils, the Marche production is not particularly elevated as regards numbers but as far as quality is concerned, it reaches a standard that is hard to equal. Exemplary surely is the Cartoceto DOP oil. Last but not least, are the wines, and the Marche boast at least 17 DOC ones, among which His Excellency the Verdicchio of Jesi and the Verdicchio of Matelica, the Rosso Piceno, the Pecorino or Passerina of Offida, the Rosso Conero and the Vernaccia of Serrapetrona stand out. Finally, come the Marche cheeses. Obtained using expert craftsmanship that includes high-quality raw materials. Those that really come to the fore are the Pecorino of the Sibillini Mountains and the cheese from Fossa in the Province of Pesaro. It is important to emphasise how a consistent number of those products in our selection have their origins in the innermost and disadvantaged areas of our region. The many different qualities of fruits and legumes, vegetables and meats owe their very characteristics to this isolation, to the climate and to the not-always-hospitable land.
Thanks to the skills of the producers, these fruits of the land are the life-force behind real and true specialities, like: expertly-made 100% local fruit marmalades, exceptionally pure organic honeys produced by bees in an uncontaminated environment at 800 metres above sea level and finally, our exceptional pulses like the lentil, spelt and the ancient cicerchia (Lathyrus sativus).
